Default welcoming in north central MO

Hello

Would a foreign/interracial family find a warm reception living in any of the small/medium size towns in north central MO (N of Warrensburg/Columbia)?

Thanks

Well from speaking to many people on these boards who do live in Missouri I can tell you that from my experience you will find most to be warm, welcoming, insightful and just good hearted people. Just remember people are people no matter where you go but there are many others here who can help you much more then I could. But let me be the first to say hello and wish you much luck and success on your search and I wouldnt have a problem having your family for a visit to my home

I live North of Columbia and I don't see interacial being a problem here. Everyone is so nice and down to earth people but then again I am not in a interracial family so I can't give you my view point from that end. I haven't seen inter racial slurrrrsss from anyone here.

Columbia being home to the University of Missouri is home to many international families in town and surounding towns; Ashland, Rocheport, Hallsville, etc! The diversity if one reason the Columbia community is a wonderful place to live.

I'm from New Franklin/Boonville which is west of Columbia and I work in Columbia. I don't think you would have any problems with diversity in any of the communities surrounding Columbia. The University brings in many, many different nationalities and they tend to spread out around Central Missouri. We have enjoyed learning the different cultures and our kids have learned to appreciate the differences.
