picked those people up and threw them into a field across the highway...ironically they had taken shelter inside the mobile home that got ripped apart...

Wow thanks Da Jammer! That is a sad story and Oh my gawd nothing is there but bricks and rocks. I was wondering if they were in a mobile home. Do you think if they hide in ditch they would have lived?

I miss those big storms (I don't miss the destuction). In western Colorado they think a big storm is a little sprinklin'. I love the lightning and thunder.

We have very close friends living for the past 6 years in Kimberling City on Canyon Forest and literally among the trees. She has no power, but otherwise seems to be okay. A wonder. We live in Western Illinois and had halacious rains...the kind that beat into your house through the windows. Sun shining now like nothing happened. Thoughts and prayers to those of you in that lousy path.
