Talking show your foilage!!!

Some nice colours there lady!

So - and pardon me if by asking what kind of camera it is that you acquired to take these photos of this autumnal scenery is hijacking this dandy thread of yours, but, like, so,,, what kind of camera did ya get?

Rereading that there previous paragraph, a nasty run-on-sentence mess if ever seen, it seems that a person could infer that I was implying that the photos of the autumnal scenery was itself hijacking your thread. Such, rest assured, is not the case, as it is I that may be transgressing this error, and beg your forgiveness...

I like the second picture. The foliage on that silver maple and sweet gum tree look quite good!

My grandparents had a huge sweet gum tree in the backyard. It dropped those gum balls on the ground almost all year. The gum balls had seeds inside them. The silver maple I recognized instantly because of the bright yellow foliage. If it is not a silver maple it is within the same family. It is a softwood tree and vulnerable to strong winds and ice storms.

I'm working on some pictures of Carthage, but my tree is just now turning and won't be at peak for a couple days. Our Maple Leaf Festival was great, but with a lot of green this year!
