Default Palmyra farm land values

Could any one help me find out what available farm land near Palmyra Mo. might sell for? I'm thinking in the 250-300 acre size with liveable house.
Thanks!

I like Palmyra. Right off of 61, within minutes of Hannibal and Quincy, and only slightly over 2 hrs from St Louis. Still has a nice small town feel to it, yet isn't too far away from the mall and modern chains of Quincy. Crime has historically been in check with other communities of it's size, but not sure how good their educational system is.

I'm a REALTOR in Palmyra, if you are willing to live 15 miles away from Palmyra you can buy land up around Hwy 6 for anywhere from $1500 -$2000 Acreage within 10 miles of Palmyra could go as high as $3000 an acre. Another option would be Ralls county where they typically sell larger tracts and they usually sell in the $2,000-$2,500 range. If your going towards Mark Twain Lake your in the $3,000 - $4,000 range. Of course bigger tracts will cost a little less per acre than the smaller tracts. I have a list of current sellers looking for buyers, give me a call. I have a farm in the Callaway County area, and land in northern MO that is decent farm ground typically goes around $2000-3500.

The northeast part of the state still has somewhat affordable ground, although prices are trending steadily upwards.

Here is a realtor website from Monroe City that often lists land. I check if from time to time:
