Default Bird Hunting in Springfield/Branson Area
Okay, this question is for my 8 yr old son... "Can I duck hunt there, mom? Turkey? Pheasant? Dove?" My husband is already sold on the fishing. I checked out the photo gallery on the News- (paper) online. Looks like deer are plenty. Our boy can't big game hunt here (Ca.)until he's 12.

Quail, doves, and ducks should be OK. Wrong area for pheasants.

Unfortunately, you won't find many quail around here. There are a couple of places in the area that offer pheasant and quail hunts, but they're not wild birds.
