Kinda concerned - so far, OK is showing a very good defense; and altho' we've been down inside their 10 yard line twice, there be only 6 points to show for it. Looks like we are tad too worried about their running game, letting them pass a tad too good. And then here we have the ball, 3 and 10 at our own 15, and now forced to punt... So OK gets the ball at the ~50... C'MON TIGERS!!!
ps: great movie!

So, you are the Mizzou coach, you are in the locker room during the 1/2 time - what mods do you do, offense and defense, knowing that OK gets the ball to start?

I'm a Longhorn, but I like the Tigers (I was born in Columbia, and my dad obtained his PhD at MU).
I hope the Tigers beat the living crap out of the Dirt Burglars.

Ignorance of the game alert!
Hooray for Shadow! I guess you were able to work out your computer issues???
Anyway, I'm gonna show my ignorance here...but I can't help it and still be real so here goes...I've never seen one of those two-point conversions before! I didn't even know about them! Hahaha!
I rarely watch football ...used to watch the Rose Bowls (bein' from CA an' all) and sometimes have watched the Super Bowl but it's been a few years so I wouldn't call myself a knowledgeable person by any stretch of the word.
Funny thing, though, I have been watchin' the game tonight with my mother, whose alma mater is Missouri University. She's in CA and hasn't much of a clue about football anymore but she used to go to the games and even knew the Mizzou players personally in her college days but that was over 60 years ago so her memory is rather fuzzy, as you might imagine!!! Anyway, I called to tell her the game was on so she tuned in and we've been watchin' and chattin' and I've explained what I know as we've gone along.
I had just finished explaining my simplest explanation of "downs" and scoring ( "Only 6 + 1 = 7 or 3 points for a field goal alone per turn with the ball...that's all, Mom" Hahaha!) when they pulled that fancy little 2-point conversion!!! (" What? What the heck was THAT??? I didn't even know they could DO that! Okay, forget all that other stuff I said, Mom...I don't know what I was talkin' bout!") Hahahaaaa! But I sure am glad they did that! WHOOHOO! GO MIZZOU!!!
My Mom said she sure liked it when we were both rootin' for the same side! Hahahaaa! Isn't that sweet?
Grrrrrr! OK made two more touchdowns! That's it! I can't just keep prayin' for no one else to get hurt. I'm gonna start prayin' to win! Whether God chooses to get involved in these things or not, I don't care...I'll feel better 'cause at least I'm doing something for the team!

Don't know about that... I've been watching a very fast, aggressive OK team, commanding the field, on both sides of the ball. The biggest hurt, and where I agree somewhat is where we have been in the red zone 4 times, w/o getting into the endzone, besides some 3 pointers. We've really not had any long passes - while OK has way too many deep throws, our secondary out of position or caught out. Now, we are the goobers doing the dumb penalties. Durn it! We need the ball back, and like now, w/o letting them score!!! Time is ticking... Frickles - that durn Brown guy... killing us. Do our Tigers have no stripes?
MrsG Yea, if a team kicks after making a TD, that is worth 1 point. If they elect instead to not kick, and to 'go for it', if they get into the end zone, such is then worth 2 points. That is so , you and your mom watching this game and talking over phone line...
