One of the commentators at the beginning of the game said that Missouri's biggest challenge is to not lose control of the ball saying they'd done that eight times in the last ? games. Now, again...I'm no expert but I've seen that happen twice...at least when I was understanding what was going on. I've been hoping they're one of those teams that does well when coming from behind...is it too much to ask? Miracles do happen, don't they?
O'm'gosh! Another touchdown for the Sooners! Good for them...baaaad for us! I hate these games when there's such a wide point spread! Did I say that right???

Actually, MO lost the ball 8 times during the last meeting of these two teams, but have done very good of late. Tonight, they've done much better on that part. However, the OK team have dominated - even the first half where we ended tied, could see the Tigers being outplayed, out-coached. Challenge now is to get 3 TD's, while not letting OK get any more points,,, all with only 8 minutes left. Not impossible, but quite unlikely - esp. w/ their Brown getting yards, eating up the clock... and they are knocking into the red zone...
Alright, enough of that...
CONGRATS TO THE TIGERS FOR A GREAT SEASON! THANKS FOR A WONDERFUL RIDE!

Ouchy.
Maybe they'll still make it into the Cotton Bowl or one of the other bowl games. Looks like Chase Daniel and Martin Rucker are headed towards great pro careers at the rate they're going!

We all have our bad nights...
Poor, poor Mizzou tigers...
Where have your stripes gone to, now???
I guess tonight just wasn't your night.
We still love ya, though!

Can't win 'em all. I wouldn't consider any team that made it that far a loser. Better luck next year Mizzou!!

Yeah it seems like Ok has their number, They will need to beat the Sooners to get the confidence to move on... We have that here in the Pac-10, Cal choked bad this year, but for them and the rest of the Pac-10, they have to go thru USC, nuch like Mizzou needs to go thru Oklahoma....

OK, I finally made it off the mountain top without jumping.
Talk about a painful night, a national championship was "that" close. For some of us Mizzou fans thats a once in a lifetime opportunity. 1960 was the last time they were ranked #1 and that lasted just one week.
I think Mizzou is going to the Cotton Bowl and will more than likely play Ar-Kansas.
This should be fun right JDSLady??? J Mac and McFadden in the same game!
I am of course predicting a Mizzou win!
