The bad thing about these pictures is that in the second one my daughter is wearing a Broncos fleece pullover under her coat. And my son is a Chiefs fan. Where did I go wrong?!! Of course my Mom says that about me. She's a die hard Broncos fan!

Gunnison is definitely one of the coldest spots in Colorado. However, you usually have calm winds when it is that cold

Well, I have about 3 inches of snow on the ground here in eastern Kansas and the current temperature is now rising to 4F with winds under 5 mph.

Exactly! All the cold air pools in the bottom of the valley. It was warm this morning. 11 above. Quite a swing from yesterday!
Sounds like you're pretty chilled there too!

Unhappy It is STILL snowing up here

You guys are so lucky that your snow disappears before April. My daughter relocated to Missouri (left me in Canada). Here the first snowfall is in October, doesn't leave until April. Blizzard warning tonight and -46. Guess I'll be joining you in Missouri if retirement ever gets here. Will be thinking about you guys playing outside without a parka and snow boots on. And we get to plug our vehicles in up here when it's cold, keeps the block heater from freezing.
