We moved to Rolla, MO, in the late spring of 2003. Some friends in Washington were kidding me about moving ta "Misery". I never thought it was Misery at all. Kind of okie. Kind of charming. Hot a lot of the time and very cold a bit of the time. The Ozarks were beautiful and St. Louis introduced us to this rock band out of Muscle Shoals, AL, called The Drive-By Truckers. It was at a place on the Mississippi River waterfront called Mississippi Nights. April of 2004. Anyone know why that pub/music venue shut down? I like Missouri enough to be all right with coming back one day.
