Favorite BBQ?
Just wondering what your favorite BBQ place is?
In KC my overall favorite is Gates. But for beans, no one beats Smokestack.

My favorite is the guy with the KC barbecue trailer that sets up across the road from Lowe's in Carthage. He's been coming round for at least 10 years. Don't know his hours, or his name. Sort of a local icon.

Jack Stack on 95th and Metcaff is wonderful! And yeah, I heard that Gates is good too!

I like LC's on Blue Parkway in KC. It's a dive, but the best BBQ I' ve ever had. Great french fries too.

There is a guy that has a traveling BBQ stand and sets up on Thursdays in the spring and summer at a gas station in Norwood, MO when he is able, he also goes to local events. He has the best BBQ brisket I have ever tasted. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
Can't wait till spring.

When we were in Springfield there was a place .. I cant remember the name of it ...but it was good!!
Everything we did in Springfield was pretty much walking distance from our hotel .. my suburban decided to quit as we entered the parking lot (fuel pump went out)
But this place was near where they were building a new Walmart ....... and I shared my plate it was soo much food!
