Just thought I'd show what it's like around here when it's not all covered in snow!

Thanks!! Summer and fall are definitely the best of Colorado in my opinion. I had some nice pix of the fall colors, but can't find them. Maybe Mrs. r8r put them in a different file.

One question.....what the hell is plotz?!!! Yes those are some dandy bucks, especially the one that's alone. I wish I could take credit for those pix, but another guy got those behind his house one morning late last summer. There are a lot of bucks like that around this area. Most are on private property where they know they're safe!! I'm afraid this winter is going to take a terrible toll on the deer. Division of wildlife is feeding them, but there are several that can't even get to the feeding grounds. It's mother nature's way, but too bad it has to be so brutal sometimes.

Thanks again.
Jeff

DH went to Gunnison several years ago on a hunting trip. Now I can see why he fell so in love with it.

All those pictures with the exception of the deer are public ground. You can hike for days and never see the same thing twice!

Sorry the first one is blurry. I must've been shivering! It was a very chilly morning!

Thanks everyone.
