I have a fire going. And fresh coffee on!
I can't believe the Thunder!!!! The sleet is coming down and a coat of ice is on everything but yet the Thunder Rolls.. Crazy weather.

Crazy indeed! Ice everywhere/ Please stay safe everyone. Just hope that nobody loses electricity.
I went out to get the paper a few minutes ago and it was frozen to the drive.  Put some ice melt stuff out so I could walk enough to get the paper. Back inside and will stay in all day now. |

Nope, doesn't count, only Missouri Dogwoods and Redbuds need apply.
You're just rubbing it in aren't ya! My backyard thermometer is at a whooping +10F this AM. |

I can't wait for spring! I have a cabin to build on my place this year and I am itching to get started.
Just think of all the sweating as a custom, no pain, work out regime. You will be positively svelte! |

I would take the sweating over the ice anytime.. besides it give our skin such a shiny glow 
Had the tv on but turned it off. To much lightening for me to be sitting in front of the set!
Hope you all have generators in case of power outages. I have one but don't know if I have much gas in the gas can That would be a tragedy.
Good day to stay in side and watch old John Wayne movies.  |

18 degrees and dropping. Ice on roads everywhere.  Fire in fireplace. Ready to just snuggle up in recliners and relax and maybe even watch an old movie. Be safe out there. |

Finally go the generator going. Lost power about 11:30 last night. So now I can at least get back on line and check the news on the tv.
Hope everyone is safe and able to cope if you are out of power. Hope to see you back online soon.
Took a few pics of the ice here this morning and as soon as I get them into the computer from the camera I will try and post a couple.
