STLtoday - Bottom of barrel! Missouri last in gas prices (http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/news/stories.nsf/nation/story/DA7CB242B2D8D1BD862574630012E450?OpenDocument - broken link)

Thanks for sharing this article! If Missouri is the bottom of the barrel, then in California's case (where I live until our house sells), clots are rising up with the cream.

The cheapest gas station in Santa Rosa, north of San Francisco earlier today appeared to be an Arco station at $4.27 for regular unleaded. My wife and I ate at a Chinese restaurant for lunch. When we finished our lunch and drove by the same station less than an hour later, the price had increased to $4.33. Diesel prices, while still just beyond ridiculous here, seem to be leveling off slightly--a little under $5.00 per gallon whereas last week a few places were as high as $5.19.

Missouri, Oklahoma and New Jersey have seen the nation's lowest prices for some time. Check out http://www.fuelgaugereport.com/sbsavg.asp (broken link) from AAA for daily gas and diesel price updates from all 50 states and their metro areas.

Whatever floats his boat! I'll just stick to my Cardinals shirt, cap and window sticker on my car.

Only 6 miles per gallon? I bet he's gotta do better than that--maybe 13 or 14 unless he treats Lindbergh Blvd. like his own private drag strip!
