Here's a pic...can you guess what it is???
It will be going on sale in May and is being manufactured by Hasbro...
Here's how Hasbro describes it:
"The INDIANA JONES SOUND FX WHIP provides kids with the ultimate toy to experience the fantasy. Included are the classic Raiders of the Lost Ark theme music and motion-activated “whip cracking” sounds."
But for all you mods, I think it should say...
The INDIANA JONES SOUND FX WHIP provides MODERATORS with the ULTIMATE DISCIPLINE TOOL to PUNISH THOSE WHO ARE WRITING OFFENDING POSTS! The classic Raiders of the Lost Ark theme music and motion-activated "whip cracking" sounds will allow you to FEEL like you're actually BEING TOUGH and MAKE YOU LAUGH OUT LOUD right there...in the silence of your own home!!! Warning: Whip cracking sounds and accompanying music might wake or bug people and animals in your home! Use at your own discretion!

BTW I think Boof is settling nicely as a mod around here

Hmmmm, if I'm not careful, I may be first in line for try outs with that whip. OK. Boof, warnings will be appreciated.
Thank you for the warning Mrs. G. good one.

I might have to ask some of you to send me a few copies of the News Leader so I can stuff them down the back of my shirt! That there whip looks nasty!!! I've got to try to become the embodiment of C-D Good Behavior and Rectitude--or else! No Missouri relocation for poor old Northbayeric, since I won't be able to rest my back on the car seat during the road trip back there!

And just what makes you think it is the shirt that needs to be stuffed? If I were you I do think that I would concentrate on a lower part of your being to be protected. Hey, Boof????

Jdslady, Being one of the 'crazy folk' myself, I completely understand how it is. Again, I will take that into account when I find myself faced with having to 'crack the whip'. hehehe I've found a man in outer mongolia that makes my whips out of wet noodles. Now just FYI, you do have the choice of a whip made of regular or spinach noodles.....in case that helps.
MrsC, thanks a bunch for the kind words. It means a lot to me. And have no fear, I'm sure we'll stay OT just fine. BTW, the weather is quite chilly....thanks for askin'.
MrsG, That looks like one fine whip, if I must say so myself. I think Jams & I could make good use of those as Mods. Don't you think, Jams? Thanks for bringin' it to our attention. Perhaps we could get a bulk purchase discount???? hehehehehe
KBear, It's only because of the kindness of our one & only Da Jammer that this thread was started. Although, I must say, it IS nice to be the recipient of such kindness. Deserved or undeserved....it's still nice. And I'm glad you were here to join in.
Jams, I appreciate those kind words of confidence. I'm learning quite a bit from my very generous Moderator friends!!! So I must thank them for any success I'm enjoying. Hmmmm, I wonder who that could be.....Jams.....Autumngal.... : rolleyes:
NV, did you say you 'may be next', or 'may you be next'? If you'd like to be the first in line, I'd be more than happy to accomodate any requests you may have. Of course, you must know, I'm blind in one eye and can't see out of the other, so I may miss!!! So, don't complain if you have to go to the end of the line for another try. hehehehehehehehe
Eric, You???? Need padding???? I can't imagine you doing anything to deserve a noodle woopin'. However, as a courtesy to you, I would recommend, as NV suggests, some cush on your tush....cuz that's what God made it for. hehehehehe At least that's what my mom said. LOL But I suspect those old papers will only come in handy to start you a warm fire once you get to St. Joe.
To EVERYONE: Thank you all so VERY much for joinin' in on this fun thread. You've all made my transition to Moderator a smooth one, just because I know I've got the support of some of the best people there could ever be. I promise to try real hard to make you proud!!!
Over & Out,
Boof

Jeanie, you're welcome to come back anytime! We won't hold it against you for loving North Carolina! It's absolutely beautiful there, too! See? Even NBEric who isn't even FROM MO...yet he's a Missourian at heart...has welcomed you (below)! He obviously recognizes good taste when he "sees" it!

Gee, what a wordy bunch we have become. Reading these last few pages again and laughing and laughing. But, alas, it is sleepy time and just want to say it was a good birthday and now I have to watch it when I say my age. Gee, have a son older than me.
