I never said it was like that all summer. But all summer it is, on average, hotter than northern Missouri.

The most snow we've gotten at one time all year is 3-4 inches, although we had plenty of sleet Monday and it hasn't completely melted yet. No school again tomorrow!
St. Louis got about 8 inches when we got 3-4. |

Maybe it's time for a change. There are pros and cons to all locales, but you might like something different and if Missouri is too warm, maybe somewhere else, like Oregon, or Northern Pennsylvania would be a good match for you. Your description of the snow in WI is really intense! |

If there are any cattle or horses in Idaho (sorry, don't know much about Idaho except for the potatoes) how do you keep them from walking over the fences, when you have 4 feet of snow?

Good question, I have'nt seen the cows or horses out in any of the fields I usually see them in so maybe they keep them near barns etc. My family used to have cows here and they had a hotwire fence but they still managed to get out sometimes. Our dog has jumped over our six foot fence, (the snow is high in some spots), four times now so now we have to take her out on a leash. |
