Well, I can confirm that all streetside shrubbery and mailboxes are STILL intact  Pulling out and turning from my street to a main road was tricky and I swung too wide - fortunately there was a parking lot to swing into and back onto the main road  Made it out to the highway, drove a bit, off a ramp, turn, turn, back on highway and back home. A few people were cranky behind me because I was being cautious and going slow but tough noogies  All in all I think it went OK - I'll try again this weekend  Thanks for asking! |

So sorry to make you all worry! I certainly feel the love in here!! 
As I've said before you folks are the GREATEST!!
We've been real busy since we arrived and we just got our internet hooked up today. Dial up.  After having high speed internet this just doesn't get it done!! I guess that means I have to sit back and relax and just wait it out.
The u-haul we rented had a front end that was badly out of alignment. We got to Garden City Kansas and had to stop. The front tires were wore down to the cords. They jerked us around for about 3 hours before they got something done about it. We spent the night there, on their dime. Decided we'd try the Clarion..complete with room service!!
We got here on the 3rd and the house wasn't ready to move into so we had to stay in a hotel in Eldon for four nights before we could move in. I wasn't a very happy camper at this point. We are now settled in.The kids are in school, happy to be with their old friends. The wife and I are back at our old jobs. Seems like we never left!!
Thanks for worrying and I'm sorry we made you think the worst.
It's so good to be back where I truly feel we belong!
Ireally missed you all!

I knew you'd be back and tried to tell all these worry-warts to chill out but they wouldn't listen to meeee! See, ya'll? I told ya he couldn't stay away foreverrrr! 
So, anyways, I'm sorry to hear you're on dial-up, bro! Will you be able to upgrade eventually? Have you considered going to the library for some serious online time?
How is your wife handling the move back? If I remember correctly, she was hesitant about it.
Anyway, we're happy you're in to your new place and beginning to get into a rhythm a.k.a. your Missouri Groove. We look forward to scheduling an OTFCC gathering around your schedule sometime.
