I spoke with a few local cops a while back and we talked about what areas have really high drug use around the Missouri area. Makes sense with all these small towns. What are some common areas? How do you know when your in a drug infested area?

Drug use happens everywhere-- city, suburb, country. We hear overdose calls on the emergency scanners almost hourly. It is not unique to Missouri or any other state.

For several years, the FBI called SW Missouri "the meth capital of the US." It no longer is called that, but meth is still rampant here.

The are certain areas where it is basically better to get busted for drugs. This attracts drugs addicts as well as people who cook and deal drugs and creates a revolving door.

Well I live in SW Missouri couple weeks ago had our place broke into by a Neighbor woman which is on Meth. Seen her Daughter last night she is on Meth. I thought Teeth was the Main way of telling but learn every time this Woman is on Meth Her face breaks out.

Had a woman tell me there is no Drug problem in the area. But last few years I've met several doing and dealing Drugs. Never a problem to find them around here.

Use to be Marijuana was the Big thing around here but it was too easy to spot from the air. Now it is Meth. What is Bad you go Camping, cookers catch wind right they will go into the woods and cook a batch and leave their trash. Plus if your camping for several days expect to have the Law check you out.

Thing is most time you either have to be looking for Drugs or have some people hanging around, you think their up to nothing but they are checking your place out. Had a Girl come to my place, first time asked who she was? Second time I ran her off.

Agreed! Correct me if I'm wrong but the last time I checked it's actually an entire state, not merely an "area."

The majority of the rural Midwest is going to be a boring, drug infested hellhole.
