Glad ya like the pics SC. Those are from a previous life. Now for the task at hand with a new life in MO. I'm getting real antsy for another MO garden. Just a tad smaller but the fish are going to be bigger. I just know they are. They had 20 years to grow since I left 'em.

Thankfully, she wasn't too interested in the fire. She was chasing bullfrogs in the pond, which was 10 yards or so away.
Pic #'s 1,2,& 5, were on relatives' property, while #'s 3 & 4 were along Bryant Creek, in a somewhat remote area.

Is that the Bryant Creek that is near Ava? If so, yea, definitely remote and VERY beautiful area...
Even if not - some great photos.

These recent MO pictures look heavenly compared to this one taken by "Love Earth" and posted on Flickr:
From http://flickr.com/photos/azurite80/2...57605888077626
Creative Commons Copyright Protection: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/...nd/2.0/deed.en
According to "Love Earth," this was taken near Ukiah, CA in Mendocino County on June 27. Ukiah's about 60 miles north of where I live in Santa Rosa, and it's situated in a fairly narrow valley that traps the wildfire smoke. Nothing that about 30 inches of Missouri rainfall wouldn't fix!
