Naw, it wouldn't look creepy, but when the coyotes are howling you might get a hair or two to stand up straight.

The first couple of times I camped by myself I managed to give myself a good case of the "willies" after dark. I love a good shiver down my spine!
Black bears have been sighted in the area, it would be a thrill to have one visit camp some night.
The coyotes do make some noise, I am thinking about getting a distress call and seeing if I can pop a few.
BassMan, Thanks for the atta boy!

Thanks for all the comments! Glad to see some Olds fans on CD.
OA, It's a Muncie M-20 4 speed from one of my 66's and is in great shape. I sent the shifter back to Hurst and had it rebuilt, it looks brand new. They re chromed the stick, it's like a mirror.
I have a posi rear end in another car, today it's just a smoke pole. The plan is to pull the rear from the other car, rebuild and repaint it and then I will swap them out. These old cars are simple and fun to work on, it's just so doggone expensive. Recently two brake lines cost me $100.00!

I love old cars/truck too. I have a '72 Chevy pickup I drove in high school that sits at my parent's house, which I only get to play with when I go home. They are expensive to keep on the road! I also ran into problems with the front brake hoses in my truck...I could find the driver's side easy but had a very hard time tracking down the passenger side line at a parts store and had to order them online. I can imagine it is much harder for an Olds with lower production numbers to start with. Good luck with your resto, I'll keep checking back for pics!

Wonderful pictures, BassMan! As long as we're here in California, let's enjoy it as much as we can. I love the Mammoth Lakes area and other Eastern Sierra mountain lakes, especially southwest of Bishop where Lake Sabrina, South Lake and North Lake are located; and Rock Creek Lake and the Little Lakes Valley southwest of Tom's Place are just a hiker's paradise. So peaceful and relaxing up there compared to the Bay Area!
