Yes, it's a right pretty place. You got me, alright.
Great place to visit, tho...

I plan on hanging it the house...do you think SHMBO will like it? There is a funny story of sorts to go with the pix. I showed it to the guy in the other pix (Jeff) and for grins he tossed a rock at the little tree it’s on from about 20 yards away.
Normally he can't hit the side of a barn but this time he nailed the tree. Suddenly we heard this incredible, loud, angry "BUZZZZZZZZ". I saw at least 50 hornets start swarming around the nest. I was 10 yards away from Jeff wearing camo, hiding behind a tree . He was wearing a bright yellow shirt in plain sight. All I can say is he can move quicker than I thought, they didn't get him but it would have served him right if they would have.

Here is DD's fave view of Sainte Genevieve, where else can one find a cornfield literally growing a block away from downtown?

Butterflies have hairy backs, apparently.

I can have cookie?

I was promised a cookie...

I'm ready for my closeup!

Mantis aerobics

little bug

*sip* *sip* YUM

Butterfly coming in for landing

Green-nosed bug?

I don't wear glasses...

Lunar Moth

Spotted Belly

Alien antennae?

And with her broken wings, she carries her dreams, Oh, you ought to see her, fly!

Different butterfly

I think this one's wings might have been torn/broken as well, if I remember correctly.

Covered in pollen

Hummingbird Moth or Bumblebee moth?

Bucket List: Things to do before I croak
I hope you enjoyed those and my lame little captions.
Album itself.

That lunar moth I touched on its head. The moth raised it wings and I touched its side. I think I scared it because it pooped. I didn't hurt it, though.
