I am in Bend, Oregon this week...we are skiing Mt. Batchelor. We went by Multnoma Falls, (2nd tallest in the U.S. at 620') and Horsetail falls in the Columbia river gorge. I took some cool pix and will post when I get home. If the #31 contest lasts until then I may have a winner.

Yes it is fairly recent. Taken this past summer at our lake front lot where we live. Our grandson saw that his Gramps needed a little assistance and just knelt down in front of him and I couldn't resist taking this picture. Wonderful young man and a special Grampa together. Thank you for your comment.

In the first pic, yep, looking for critters.  All the scorpions/black widows/tarantulas that you could shake a stick at right down there under those rocks.
