When we were driving through the southwestern part of Missouri I took this pic with a new digital camera I had just bought. The camera is nothing fancy and not a high end one but it does what I want and need. We thought it was very pretty.

Has any of you ever been to Highlandville? If you have, have you ever visited The World's Smallest Cathedral? Here are some pics and a link if you are interested. We visited it yesterday and it is so very charming.

Christ's Catholic Church

Those pictures are terrific! Thank you for sharing those with us! As a road map junkie, I had seen "World's Smallest Cathedral" on one of my Missouri maps and always wondered what it's like.

If any of you ever get the chance and would be interested, you have to visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows, located in Starkenburg, MO, just a few miles from Hermann. On the grounds there are two beautiful old churches, an outdoor Stations of the Cross, a grotto, a replica of the Holy Sepulchre (probably not a very close replica but that's OK!), and a tiny chapel as well. I absolutely love visiting this place, and have been there twice so far. Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows, Starkenburg, MO Be sure to click on all the links for some great pictures!

Eric, I love it that you are just as much of a road map junkie as I am! I have found soooooo many out of the way places in our beloved Mo that way.
