Had a woman today telling me how happy she was to see this on Governor Greitens. I told her it takes two to play. She started preaching the Bible to me about Adultery. I asked her about Judging? Well he is in the Public Eye, so you are to Judge. I say well he has a past, do you have a past? Yes but it is private. Oh! But he is in the Public Eye.
There is no arguing with Liberal Democrats.
Seems to me the Major Cities that are having trouble are in Democrat control and this country was turning in the same direction and I'm so Happy we have leaders determined to turn it back around.

Correct.
Look at Memphis, New Orleans, Orlando, Baltimore, Detroit, Birmingham, Houston, Los Angeles, etc. All cities with democrap control and big crime and money problems.
I would have told the bible thumper to shut it.
I'm trying to prepare for the reality this NOV FL will likely have a democrat governor, and being FL it will be a liberal one most likely from the Orlando or Miami area. Scott won both times barely just barely and since then FL has slowly been trending more democrat.
The only guy who has a chance is Adam Putnam and even the early polls show him losing to most of the potential candidates.

So that put the whole "you got what you deserve" meme right out the door, doesn't it? We Republicans wanted Trump and we are satisfied with what we got. You will notice that Trump voters are not abandoning ship.
Democrats look down on conservatives because Democrats look down on everyone who doesn't agree with them. In that vein, Democrats are not much different from radical Muslims.
And Conservatives don't look down on Democrats?
All Conservatives do on C-D is talk about Liberals.
Talk about hypocrisy.

And what major metros do Republicans have control of?
Not many. Mostly podunk towns with little going on and no opportunity. You can have that.

Miami has some Republicans, but they're pretty liberal overall, look more like democrats and anti gun and nothing like a Republican you have in MO. Here in FL it's Miami/Dade county republicans that get our gun bills killed. You would never see that kind of behavior from a Republican in Missouri, Mississippi or Arkansas.
Actually, at the local level in the upper south and deep south (including MO) you will still see many democrats at the local level such as city council, mayor, sheriff. Some of that is because they simply need to be a member of a party to run in an election.
Also, New York City has some Republicans too. Rudy Giuliani and Michael Bloomberg was once Republican too.

That is why I don't vote on Part Lines. last election here I found everyone voting for anyone with an R even the ones that didn't campaign.
I use to vote on Party Line when Democrats were against Minorities. But that was the way I was brought up.
Kind of like I started to vote for Obama until I checked him out. Hillary I never liked.

Democrats were different 70 years ago. You had the largest faction which was conservative, and then the smaller group that was more liberal, and then the Republicans which they were really a non factor they were so small in size in most states.
Like Missouri was always conservative, but people voted democrat. It took a long time for them to flip and vote Republican. That process was completed in Missouri in 2002 the general assembly and senate flipped.
In Kentucky it happened a couple years ago finally and Arkansas about 10 years ago finally flipped.
You mentioned right to work in your previous post. Well in the 1950s it nearly passed in Missouri in the general assembly and it was democrats from southern Missouri who backed it.
The civil rights act of 1964 the congressmen from Missouri voted against it except for the ones from the St. Louis area and one from KC. All the other ones voted against it from northern MO, southern MO, Little Dixie areas.
The two senators from MO voted for it just like Kentucky's did. I recall Senator Long did not really want to vote for it at first until some arm twisting from Johnson.

I’ve been to the Bay Area several times (I fly into San Fran yearly on my trip to Lake Tahoe and Yosemite). I’ve never lived there, though. I know the homeless population is high, but look at crime in St. Louis. Crime is way worse in most Rust Belt cities. San Fran is relatively safe. To each their own, though. There are nice places to live in the Midwest. The Twin Cities are great. Madison and Grand Rapids are terrific little towns. Unfortunately, St. Louis is trash.
AHHH, you're one of those progressives who prefer cities with relatively small black populations. We've had several of your types run down St. Louis over the years, they always like Minneapolis, Denver, Seattle, etc.
Thanks for stopping by. I like Missouri just fine, although it's a bit cold right now for my liking.

He wants to govern as far to the right as possible (even if he’s personally moderate), throw out right wing talking points and paint himself as an “outsider” as much as possible so he can basically be Donald Trump 2.0. Right wingers eat up that “outsider” stuff like crazy, even if it’s coming from an obvious snake oil salesman. These people like Greitens and Trump are lifelong liberals/moderates who are realizing it’s cake to win a GOP election by just throwing out red meat to the electorate. GOP base has become so angry that they’re easily swayed by anyone pretending to be an outsider.
If Trump is a liberal, then why does the MSM constantly call him a racist? We all know liberals can't be racist. Only conservatives can be racist. Maybe the MSM is just fake news?

Yet, these same liberals live in gated communities, condo high rises or far away from non whites.
I wonder where Pelosi lives? Even Maxine Waters (glad she no longer lives in MO) lives in a luxury home.
Maybe Diane Feinstein should live in East LA or something and experience the enrichment of illegals.
This reminds me of the horrible Stacey Newman during the veto override session of 2016 debating SB656. One of the rural lawmakers with a semi southern accent embarrassed her. He asked Newman if there are any guns in her house and she said "no" then went on to say she lives in a gated community with security guards and feels safe. He then went on saying he was part of the 90 percent that can't afford to live in the kind of community she can. She really ate her foot on that one.

Stupid response. Of course liberals can be racist. Anybody can be racist. Progressives were into eugenics. You have to judge people as individuals, not based on their political party. I don’t believe Trump has been a racist throughout his adult life. However, he recently decided to pander to the far right to win a political election. So he’s said some things that are questionable since then.
