I was off of Old Gravois just down the road from the old Big Lots parking lot. We were working on that pawn shop and medical office--there's low-lying creek area that comes out from the Meramec and it just totally filled through that whole area. It was stunning.

It was great to see so many people from around the area. There were people from St. Clair, IL, St. Chuck, Imperial....it was awesome. St. Louisans are an amazing bunch of people and yesterday made me proud.

Its seems that no matter where we are, you can count on Mo folks to pitch in and help out. I sure am proud to be a native and proud of my fellow native Missourians, y'all are awesome folks!

Danilo-11 is on a distinguished road
I was driving from Maryland Heights to Rolla and I completely forgot about this flooding.
I got up to the Ford plant, called my mother-in-law, when she told me about the mess that was in front of me, I passed the overpass by the Ford Plant, put the car on reverse and went up the "off-ramp" until I got to the street

There's no f...... way I was gonna stay in that traffic,
my mother-in-law told me to take 100 to Gray Summit
and I knew that I was going to be completely packed with cars
because I bet all the cars from the highway went down that way.

I drove back on I-44, drove south on I-270,
drove down I-55 to Barnhart, got on highway M (very nice highway)
on House Springs we turned left on Highway 30 (grabbed some burgers )
then drove on highway 30 all the way to St. Clair.

It took about 1-1/2 hours to drive from Fenton to St. Clair,
but we didn't run into any traffic jam all the way.

Anybody knows what it was like going through 100?

Here's the route that I took
