I can think of very few state forums on this site ( and I done knows em well ) that has a more polite, as a whole, group of people that post regularly within. I dare say that the vast majority of them could hang with the best this site has to offer as far as intelligence, understanding of complex scenarios, wit and of course wisdom. Yup, dem der MO peeps be sum smart cookies if'n I do say so meself

I agree! The original post basically bashed everyone in the state, yet everyone was very polite in their responses.

I was completely offended by the original poster, but I would still help her out of a burning building. You know, it's the right thing to do. What we Missourian's lack in education and the ability to abstain from meth, we make up for with our moral, good character, and overall friendliness

me, too, I swear though, we called them hoosiers in SG, they were only hillbillies if they lived in the Ozarks, go figure!

Hoosier is a charming St. Louis term meaning "white trash" or "redneck." You are not an official St. Louisan unless you can use the term with deftness and ease. I try to pepper my vocabulary with the term at least 23 times a day. Unless I'm busy making a meth run or studying for my GED--in which case I'm inaudible for most of the day and thus unable to fulfill my daily quota.
