They do though. They want to heavily regulate firearms or outright outlaw many of them.

As for St. Louis city, you got a few liberal hipsters, gays in places like central West End, but the city is mostly black and as we know they vote for far left liberals. Now it's spreading into St. Louis county more as they spread out.

I'm not trying to sound racist but that's just how it is. Even South St. Louis and places like The Hill the demographics are changing and you hear more about crime in those areas that you didn't have much of 30 years ago.

Uh, NO, for a lot of reasons.

- Dealers use. They deal to pay for drugs. And a 65 y/o meth head?! Have you actually seen a meth head? Their lives are as Thomas Hobbes stated, "nasty, brutish, and short." Emphasis on the "short." They don't get anywhere near 65 years old. Not even close.

- 5 pounds (2,270 g) of meth is an enormous amount of meth, that amount is seen only in the hands of traffickers hauling it across the US-Mexican border to distribute to gangs, who will divide it into much smaller quantities to dealers to sell. Unless your 65 your old grandma is really a 25 year old Mexican drug gang mule, it's not a 65 year old grandma trafficking 5 pounds of meth.

- Get with the times, dude. 1999 called and wants its drug back. Meth's time has long since come and gone. Heroin and illegal Mexican fentanyl are en vogue now. What are you, on 'ludes?

A 65 year old grandma was just busted last month on RT 65 at the Benton county line with over 5 Lbs of meth, the sheriff suggested it was from Mexico. Several other older women have been arrested recently for the same offenses. It's a generation that's not growing old gracefully. Yes, it's an enormous amount of meth. Yes, they have ready buyers.

Columbia is a good choice for liberal households. Although, keep in mind that Columbia is the fastest-growing metro in Missouri and it's a university town. It's still an easily manageable area, but it's not a small town by any means. Those aspects could affect your neighborhood choice.

Boone County leans democrat but it's certainly not like St. Louis. One of the recent polls I recall have Claire and Josh tied in Boone County. Of course being a college town it will be more Democrat because of the large school and all the professors, staff etc who tend to be more liberal. Most of the liberals will probably have tied to the University.

The only deep blue areas left in the state is St. Louis City/County and Jackson county with Boone being lighter blue. Moderate democrats can still win in places like Jefferson County and in pockets like St. Joseph. Otherwise Missouri is red all over.

I’m from St. Charles County, and I’ve been to a few different parts of the state, and I’ve never seen a “liberal” city in Missouri. Not saying there isn’t one, but I haven’t seen one.

I can say for St. Charles County, we are a very right wing area, and I’ve met plenty of gay people, and black people, and Mexicans who like living here. Liberals do not have a monopoly on being tolerant. 99% of people don’t care what you are. The other day I saw a dude in full drag at Walmart, and one guy even stopped to have a friendly conversation with him.

Honestly, we just don’t care.

I wouldn't call it very right. For an urban area it is though!

Places in southwest and south central MO were over 80 percent trump in some of the counties. Don't see that in St. Charles County. For an urban area, yes it's right wing.

Okay, fair enough! 😊
I’ve just always gotten that vibe from living here. I’m lucky to have been born here though, and I’d recommend it to anyone. The only reason I’m planning on leaving is because of the cold.

If you want warmer weather try the southern quarter of Missouri. A lot warmer in winter, but summer will be more humid.

It has got more conservative over time, St. Charles County that is as more conservative types leave St. Louis county. That is what happened to North County. It used to be blue collar and white, conservative leaning, but then people in the county started moving to places like Franklin and St. Charles County while the inner city from north stl moved in.

Those republican voters from the country ended up spreading out.
