Default Former Moberly boy.

I grew up in Moberly the first 12 years of my life and have great memories of what it was like in the 1950's. My dad was a railroad engineer with the Wabash ( N&W/Norfolk Southern ) until 1976. The town has indeed grown quiet over time, but I have thought about moving back there after I retire. A part of me is still that little boy who wants to go back home. I would recommend the town to anyone who wants to bring up a young family or simply wants to lead a good quiet, wholesome life.

Default Moberly/Hallsville

To the seniors who want to be within 20 minutes of Columbia, I recommend checking out Moberly (a great town with plenty of amenities) and Hallsville, which is a hidden gem. Many Columbians are moving into these areas, and I like the towns a lot.
