Default Norwood Mo./all info.appreciated

Thinking of relocating to Norwood.I'm aware it is a very small town.I would like to know how accepting the people there are to newcomers. Are there racial issues?I presently live in southern n.m.,tired of looking at dirt!Previously lived in n.y. suburbs, miss the trees and greenery.

We are relocating next Spring (hopefully) to Mountain Grove, and it is a few miles from Norwood. We like Mountain Grove better, more to do, shopping, etc. People so far have been very friendly. We are in CA now, and I was very pleasantly surprised to be treated with a great deal of respect from TEENs! It's nice. I think I can get used to that quickly. Good luck to you.

I lived in Norwood briefly in 1979 as a teenager, I really enjoyed it, I made friends quickly and felt welcomed. The high school was very small then less than 100 students in grades 9-12. I would love to go back, what kind of employment is in the area, and what is the housing market like.
