Gathering from your post, desire is to live in the StL metro/area?

Have kids, desires for certain kinds of living/housing/neighbors, jobs, schools, etc.?

If you are looking for the StL area, I will move this thread to that section... just let me know!

Winfield is a safe small town. Everybody is friendly. Juat don't buy on the East side of the tracks, it is in the flood area. We are close to larger towns. LSL is about 30 miles away. LSL is known to have people there who make good money. Nice area but expensive.

Morgan Quitno lists Lee's Summit as one of the safest in the country.

But those kind of lists generally aren't the most accurate.

It also depends on what you're looking for. Budget, family, likes/dislikes, things like that.

Yeah, I hope the OP comes back and lets all of us know if (s)he has decided on moving to another place in Missouri. There are a lot of things to take into consideration in addition to safety and crime stats.
