Smile Anyone live/know about Grandview?

What areas are nice?

How are the schools?

What are average rent prices?

Any other info would be greatly appreciated.

Grandview is pretty good. I went to school there yrs ago. The area west of 71 hwy is the old area. The east side is newer housing.. Not being racist at all but when i was a kid we only had two black kids and i hear now that it has about 80% black students. Quite a change from the old rascist days(and it was up until about the 70's). That stuff is now history! thankfully.Nice school buildings and the town is not deteriorating. Really just a suburb of the KCMO area. You won't know whether you are in KC or Lee's Summit or Belton unless you see the city limit signs.
Rental on house start at about $600.00 for a single family three bedroom i bath home.
Excellent access to anywhere in the metro. Commute time to downtown Kc is about 20 min and about 45 min to the airport(MCI). A major traffic delay of 35 minutes is unheard of unless a major wreck etc.
Grandview is landlocked for expansion by other cities. Hardly any new housing additions because of no land. We have a Sam's club etc.
Should you ask this same question about Grandview on the KS forum i think you might hear different.lol
How else can i help?
