Smile Thanks Reynolds County

Thank you Reynolds County,
The thread that we’ve run since January has revealed a lot of information about what you want in Reynolds County. I firmly believe that Reynolds county people are the most awesome people in the state of Missouri. Your thoughts, and your opinions, and even some of your anger has taught me how you feel about various issues involving law enforcement. I have listened, I have learned, and I will try very hard to meet your expectations.
Mike Smith

Mike, did you win the election to become Reynolds County Sheriff? It is sure a pretty place, having driven through it in May 2006. This was just a few months after Johnson's Shut-Ins was heavily damaged, and I'd love to take my wife back there again at some point in the not-too-distant future.

No the election is not until Nov 4th. Also you really need to look at Johnsons shut in again. I went about a month ago and was going to spend an hour or so, My family and I spent the entire day there. What a great place to hang. If you want I can give you some other places to visit that I think are really cool? Let me know.
Mike

Mike, thank you so much, and best wishes in the general election in November! My wife and I have been trying to get our house sold here in NorCal so we can move to St. Joseph, MO.

On our 2006 vacation back there, we also greatly enjoyed visiting Ft. Davidson over in the Ironton-Pilot Knob area. That was quite a Civil War battle that took place there. Anyway, let us know how things go with you!
