Passing through Missouri in March, would love suggestions!
I haven't been to Missouri for years, and about to get on the road in March (hoping for reasonable weather) and wonder if folks have any suggestions for stopping, seeing, enjoying and a good, reasonably priced, but comfortable hotel, motel or bed and breakfast. I will be heading in the direction of Columbia from the SW.
Many thanks.

If you go through Springfield, you can consider my home your free hotel. I'll get the cat hair off the guest beds and the sheets are fresh Breakfast can be spotty...
But there is always IHOP, though I do provide freshly ground dark roast coffee

You're a Prince!
When I'm close to MO, I'll call and see how those miles go. I'm hoping to leave here around 10 March.
Many thanks, breakfast could be on me!

Other ideas- Columbia, Blackwater (Victorian B & B is there). If you go in late March dogwoods and azaleas will be in bloom!!

I'm thinking they would be more in bloom in April.

Thanks for the replies. I am packing now and hope to be on the road by the end of February -- so I will miss those blooms.
Sounds good that B&B in Columbia. While I have friends there, I might prefer the B&B.
