Default lodging in northeast Missouri

Hi,
I am planning on visiting the area around Kirksville and would like to now beside Kirksville if there is small town lodging in the area say...20 miles around Kirksville.
I would be interested in motel/hotel or cabin rentals. Thanks.

You might also consider Mark Twain Lake about an hour away. A great summer destination

Close to Mark Twain lake is Hannibal. Hannibal is the boyhood home of the Mark Twain. Cool little town. I'm going there in May again.

Post if you want anymore info.

I live in Clark County and we have a very nice new motel, in our small rural county seat, owned by a nice local family. That may be too far away from Kirksville for you.
