I live about 14 miles from New Cambria, and in fact almost bought a house there myself. I'm pretty sure the population is about 200, with about half the people living in town and the rest scattered on the outskirts. It's a very small town, but I'm sure you knew that.

I can't recall for certain, but I don't think theres much of anything in NC. I'll try and get out there this weekend and take a look around.

Like most people in this region, you have to travel a ways to get to anything. Bevier is a great little town with a supermarket, etc, that would be your closest groceries and such. Macon is a little larger and has many fast food, grocers, Wal-Mart and just about anything else you're looking for. Further up is Moberly, which has a very nice Super Wal-Mart. But the real shopping is in either Columbia, or if you're really adventurous, Kansas City is 100 miles away. That takes care of the shopping!

If there's something in particular you'd like to know, ask and I'll do my best to find out for you.

Welcome to Northern Missouri!
