The two party system has failed us with massive spending on both sides. We need a fiscally conservative party that makes sure that spending is allocated properly instead of funneled into a black abyss. In terms of the last stimulus, I think that showed an entire lack of cooperation. I think the people would have been more in favor of a smaller targeted stimulus that would immediately begin to create jobs. I think many are tired of the doom and gloom with dark clouds everywhere. It is starting to really wear down everyone.

That's why I'm running as an Independent. I not happy with either party. they have a long history of being out for themselves, not the people.

Missourians are on a whole a balanced and sane group of people that mostly reject the European socialist model we are following at the moment.

Now that's a frightful speculation!

Ugh, nearly 17% growth in my home county by 2030. Maybe I should stop telling Califoriegners how nice Missouri is. I think my hometown is safe though...the population is still lower than it was in 1975!

Why are people trying to keep other people from moving to Missouri? Denver has been growing 2% annually for the past 20 years and a sizable chunk of that influx came from California. You guys should be talking us up! There's tons of room for everybody. St. Louis Kansas City Augusta wineries B&B's and wine tours. The Ozarks! Don't be selfish

No! No! No! Let us in and then be selfish. Be VERY selfish. If I wanted to live around a bunch of Kahleeforeigners (with thanks to OB) I'd simply stay put! I don't care about house appreciation. I care about home.

Why should we let YOU in you who wants to be selfish and not the Californians instead? I'm not content with missouri being your little diamond in the rough or gem of a find. I want new industry more jobs and better paying jobs more small business more venture capitalists more high tech jobs. I'm not going to close off Missouri to people like that. I'm not going to close off Missouri from becoming better! NNNNNNOooo Sir!!!
