We are possibly relocating to the Marshall area. Our target area is about a 30 mile radius around Marshall. I am concerned about a few things and would appreciate some feedback. The schools did not look very impressive on the few websites I looked at - opinions? What are the good neighborhoods in that area. We have four kids ranging in age from 14 to 2 and would like a nice family centered neighborhood. Although we LOVE a small atmosphere I also like to go shopping without driving for hours - is this area extremely rural? Our 14 year old plays hockey - is there any youth hockey leagues or high school teams in this area? I would really appreciate some opinions on this area - good and bad!
