It says KC has a net gain downtown of 4 bars compared to STL 28, of course this doesn't including the 23 or so that opened with P&L district last year.... putting them on par with each other.
And as far as the other comparison to STL is said "
•St. Louis: converted historic buildings into lofts —
and added a casino to its riverfront."
the
and is the important part.... good for you, we already have plenty of casinos on our riverfront...
Downtown has a lot more to do IMO, trust me i've said it TONS on the KC forums.... but I do think its way ahead of STL. Our downtown has a higher population, and it's gaining on a higher rate then STL. All statistics show this... KC still needs light rail, definitely more jobs centered in KC (our problem is the kansas side makes it much easier and cheaper for business to start up), etc... lots to do really
try using information thats not so outdated in the future.
