AT 1106 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 11 MILES SOUTH OF BEVIER TO HIGBEE TO 6 MILES SOUTH OF MURRY TO NEW BLOOMFIELD TO LINN TO NEWBURG...AND MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH.
WIND GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH ARE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS...ALONG WITH HEAVY RAIN AND FREQUENT DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. WIND GUSTS OF UP TO 40 TO 45 MPH HAVE BEEN REPORTED IN COLUMBIA AND JEFFERSON CITY MISSOURI. LOCATIONS NEAR THE PATH OF THESE STORMS INCLUDE...
