Hillman, I was sick this past weekend, so I didn't venture out of the house to measure the snow here in Rolla, but it looked like around 5 inches.
We've almost had a real Missouri winter in 08-09: Ice, snow, sleet, below zero temperatures.

Hillman, did you take the photo of the deer? We have had lots of moose this year but I never seem to have a camera handy.
We had 18 inches over the weekend, supposed to snow/rain tonight

Missouri weather - this thread will never die. You should see how bored the weathermen/women are here in Albuquerque. Missouri weather is definitely anything but boring. Hope you all enjoyed the lovely day today!

Thanks, dkk4f2....enjoy, indeed. Beautiful day with a few more to come before 30's come again here in mid Missouri. Took a few walks today, listened to a few early returning feathered friends and observed a pair of RedTailed Hawks soaring overhead as the warm air assisted them in their ascent. Loverly!

I've got the windows open to let the house air out, and my spring cleaning almost done. Now I just need to pick a weekend for the yard sale....hey, anybody need sweet gum balls? I'm running a special this week only- you rake, you take, as many as you want for FREE! What a bargain. No need to hurry, supplies will NEVER run out!
