The storms that rumbled through our area yesterday morning was short. No serious damage. Just a few tree limbs down and all of the leaves that I had raked yesterday, are back almost where they originally had been. Well, almost. A little colder now....39℉...Quite a change from the warmer weather earlier.
Looks as if colder during the middle of the week.

Spring, like a lovely lady, always arrives, but at her own choosing of time and demeanor...
And I for one am tired of waiting for her to arrive!!! Old man winter has been quite forceful this year...
I'm quite tickled to see the snow and ice and bitterly blustery winds done go on their way.

Same here ShadowCaver.....even tho' I'd say our winter here has been fairly mild, it still seems like it has lasted such a looooong time. Shorter, grey days and the extreme cold are the elements that bothered me the most. A little or even a lot of snow around our woods is most welcome. I do like snow. But, I do not enjoy the severe cold temperatures that we have had. Nope, not at all.
Now I'm looking forward to Spring and the thunderstorms that come with it. Nothing like lying around and the lights are dim and you can sit and listen to the thunder roll and roll overhead. Or drive to the lake and watch the white caps and see the lightening in the distance to the north of us. Love it!

Great day in Rolla; it was 59 degrees last time my wife looked, don't know if it got to 60 or not. The rest of Rolla celebrated St. Pat's with a parade and all, but I got a lot of ground worked so I can plant root crops now that the moon is waning.
Gasoline was $1.809 most places in Rolla, but it was $1.77 at the Casey's on Highway 72.
