Doggy Daycare in Joplin
Does anyone know of a good doggy daycare/boarding place for dogs in Joplin? I've have used one but won't use them again...their tactics are way too rough. When you see the head person dragging your puppy across the floor by their leash, saying, "you have to learn to walk on your leash sometime," then I think it's time to look elsewhere. Does anyone have any ideas? And what do they charge per day/night? I'm getting ready for a three day trip to Branson and need a nice/fun place for him. I was even considering taking him to the Springfield area but thought that maybe the car ride and a new place might be too stressful. He is an 8 month old Black Lab and is developing an absolutely amazing disposition. He is neutered, housebroke and loves to play with other dogs, so any ideas would be helpful.

Have you considered someone you trust coming into your home while you are gone? Maybe you have a neighbor, friend or relative?
My son has done that for one of our neighbors and it worked out well.

No...I don't know anyone that is available to do that. I think I may have found a place, I have spoken with them and plan on stopping by to look around. They also do grooming there. Sounds very promising. They only charge $11 a day and are open for Saturday pick-up which is very appealing to me.

There is a doggie daycare across the street from Price Cutter on Maiden Lane. Its actually on the next street over but there is a banner on the maiden ln side. Its a house and it looks well kept. I dont know anything else about it though.

You know...I think a friend of mine mentioned that before too. I'll have to look into that. They may be set up where the dogs can be out and play with each other and that is what I would prefer.
Thanks

no problem! Hope it works out. It has a yard with privacy, so I surmise that is the case as well.
