Default libraries/bookstores in Warrensburg?

Hi, my family is contemplating a possible move to Warrensburg next year, and one of the things we want to know about are the libraries/bookstores in the area. I noticed that the library catalog didn't have at least one of the most recent ALA books (that's been out for quite a while and that is by a KC author). Is the library part of a system where you can borrow books from other branches? How is it in general? We are huge readers.

Likewise, what kind of bookstores are there in town? Any independent bookstores? Chains?

Ehh... I don't think you'd really like Warrensburg. You should consider Columbia if you like intellectual pursuits.

As everyone from outside Missouri knows, we Missourians are quite poorly educated and barely literate. Why would you even consider moving here?
