Late May or early June sounds good. While we're there can you help us find a house in his neighborhood? The closer to OB's house the better. He can consult for me about the Trader Joe's I'll be trying to get started in Rolla.

Hmmm...I think a shin-dig in Rolla around then would fit in my schedule too. I'll even bring up all my ex-Kalefornian, now Texan friends to try to get them to move to Missouri. Maybe if enough move to Rolla it will get a Trader Joe's of its own!

But,,, what about a mall? I mean, where will all these peoples do their serious avocado shopping at if there ain't a mall there too?
Will there be at least a galleria hawking different flavours of educational-enriching tabacky and styles of spittoons too?
How abouts a alternative lifestyle clothings store too?

I think Wally World is close enough to a mall....they can probably get all of their vintage/alternative clothes needs at Salvation Army and that army surplus store out by Doolittle

Hey guys, be sure and post a date when you're all planning to get here. I want to make sure I stay out of town that day.

I must say, I picked up on this thread late, and have been angered and amused by turns.
As an expatriate hillbilly, I have to tell y'all, I cant wait to be in a state of misery..... all the damn yankees down here are working my last nerve!
Y'all wanna see hillbillies? Come down here to the Ocala National Forest, the ones down here make ours seem positively erudite

DH is not ready to retire yet, and after his 401k took a hit, we are going to have to wait a bit on buying property. I really wanted to buy this year, but cant right now without dipping into savings, which I hate to do.
I will be in Misery this August, and looking at property again (I am SUCH a glutton for punishment!)
On the other hand, there may be some really great deals when I get there!

Heck, if enough peeps parade around ob's front porch, there might be a piece of property become vacant in 'the middle of everywhere' if he might skattle out of the area... well, depends on how taken he might be with some of the fellas though.
