Any Boonvillians here? We are in the process of moving there from Texas. I'd love to get some folks' observations on the place. Thanks!

We love Boonville, and it's one of the reasons we purchased a hobby farm nearby in Saline County. Cute downtown area, seems to have many profs and other similar-type folks living there and working in Columbia, which is only a short drive. If you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to ask. Good luck with your move!

I love it--it's a great smallish town, and you have the MO river and the Lamine River, the Katy Trail, wineries, caves, and several picturesque historical towns nearby plus all the shopping and Mizzou in columbia. Hey, maybe I ought to move there.

Well, we finally moved in! We haven't really had a chance to meet very many people yet, but the area is surely beautiful. Coming from Texas, I can't believe how easy it is to grow flowers here! It's wonderful in Boonville! (Boonville, Missouri!)

Welcome to Mid-MO. You might consider subscibing to the following magazine to learn more about what goes on in MO throughout the year. Oh, it is based right there in Boonville.
