Beatrice Johnson-McIver is on a distinguished road
Default Webster Groves vs. Chesterfield schools and community activities

My husband and I are planning to relocate our family from California to Missouri. We are leaving a very liberal, diverse community where we have been the only black family in our church, schools, sports and daycare. As a mother, and medical professional I'm concerned about living in places where we may encounter racism. Most of our time is spent with the kids, ie church, swim meets, football, soccor and T-ball games. We want the best schools for our kids, without being in urban St.Louis, without the steriotypical "southern influence" and without having to deal with blatant racism. Please comment. Bea

You'll probably be better off asking this in the St. Louis forum.
