Default Where should an intern live?

Hey, I'm a twenty year old student from England whos currently undertaking an internship in Missouri. I'm looking for an apartment to rent but pretty stuck on what area to move to. I want to move somewhere where theres lots going on and a community of young people!
I've been looking in the Clayton, Wildwood areas. Just wondering where people suggest the best place is to live, any recommendations would be appreciated!

You may want to post this in the St. Louis forum.

As for a place to live, the largest community of young people can be found in the Central West End. Clayton is OK, but tends to have an older crowd and is relatively expensive. I'd strongly recommend against living in Wildwood, that is way out in the suburbs and you'll find very few young people in that area.

I agree with OA. I would look in the Central West End, Soulard, Tower Grove or The Loop (University City). Wildwood is very far from the city and would not be a fun place to live.

Where should an intern live? Out of the reach of Bill Clinton!

Sorry, couldn't resist.

U. City would be my first suggestion but all the suggestions made so far are good ones.
