Default looking for a place between st louis and columbia

We are moving to Missouri. I have an offer from Univ of Miss columbia and my wife has an offer in St Louis. I am in a confused state on where to live. I am willing to commute more than her (though i never commuted 90 miles one way on daily basis). Can anyone suggest me good neighborhoods/cities on I-70.
Thanks in advance for your comments.

Shashi

Hi there! Congrats on the jobs! Warrenton might be a good place to look. I own a real estate and mortgage company here in St. Louis and that is out of my market, but I would be happy to hook you up with a good agent there in Warenton. If you like, drop me a line.

There are several smaller towns in between. High Hill, New Florence, Jonesburg, Kingdom City. I would suggest someone switching jobs. You are looking at around 1-3 hours travel time. I-70 often is shut down in 1 or both lanes. I live in Fulton and commute to Columbia. Takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour. (Approx. 30 miles one way) GOOD LUCK.
