Best place to rent a boat? (Branson, Table Rock: rental, school, swimming)

Coming June 9-16 and we want to rent a boat and get out on a lake for the day.
Can anyone tell me the best lake? best boat rental place? etc. any suggestions would be helpful. Iv always heard Table Rock was the best?? Also what would be the best day to rent a boat as far as the lake being less crowded??

Avoid the weekend-now that school is out, Branson and "the Lake" will be in full swing. It's still a little chilly for swimming, but fishermen will be everywhere. Try this link-you may need to look at a map to find the place closest to where you will be. Table Rock Lake is pretty big.
