Yeah I'm pumped too. This card is going to be fun!

I think Cain has a legitimate chance to win but he's going to have to stick and move and use excellent footwork. His only real chance is to tire Brock out and get a decision or pull off a miracle TKO stoppage. I imagine the referee will be reluctant to stop this one until someone appears to be unconscious.

Brock on the other hand has a few ways to win, including another possible submission. I imagine though that his hands are going to be a lot faster than we've seen in previous fights and since he probably wont fear Cain on his feet, he may stand and trade with him. When it goes to the ground it could end pretty fast if Brock is on top.

I'm pumped three.

I just can't decide on the Cain/Brock fight. I think Cain had the edge standing despite less power because he's got a dimension in kick boxing that Brock doesn't, plus better hand speed.

Wrestling will be close, I just can't agree when people say Brock will dominate the wrestling as Cain has wrestled plenty of big heavyweights before. They are both great wrestlers, Brock probably has the edge because of the size/strength but I can't imagine anyone in MMA dominating Cain in wrestling. That said if Brock ends up on top of him can Cain scramble out? I think Couture managed it.

What a great fight.

Also interesting = aftermath for both WW and HW.

Brock wins: JDS up

Cain wins: likely rematch with Brock, I don't know what they do with JDS since Carwin has Nelson in January.

Shields wins: GSP or do they drag it out with a Condit or Fitch fight?
Campman wins: ?

Good times.

i think Cain would beat Carwin also,so I don't think that win for Brock means anything here.I think if Cain can tire Brock or keep it standing long enough.I mean really they both have just a few fights, under ten a piece.Brock beating Randy i don't think was impressive as it would have been years ago,nor was Cain's win over Big Nog.I would not bet on this one.I think Dana is loving the fact he has Shields signed.A Shields win opens up alot of possibility no doubt.Shields can take a punch,I mean Henderson drilled him in the first and he not only hung,he beat danny boy like I have never seen.Shields is the real deal

dana has said a couple times jake shields wins he gets gsp.

i honestly see that fight being a snoozer, gsp is not an exciting fighter these days like he was before he joined the greg jackson model, and jake shields has never been an exciting fighter. it is going to be a wrestling match mostly, who ever ends up on top the most wins, bottom line.
you know, been watching the ufc primetimes and while cain has cardio for days, and speed he doesnt seem to have much power. all they have really focused on is his stand up, cardio and how he is a "good role model" on the show. i dont think cain has a chance, he doesnt hit anywhere near as hard as carwin and brock took everything carwin had and barely looked the worse for wear. i also dont think cain could handle carwin.

this is just more ammo for why i think they need another weight class between 205 and 265. i contend again a 225-230 weight class is needed as these big boys are just to big, strong, fast for the smaller guys. this fight is going to come down to what i always say, if you have 2 guys with equal skill/technique the bigger stronger guy wins 90% of the time. will cain be the 10% i doubt it.

i honestly thing the only person who is going to beat brock is shane carwin, once he gets his gas tank figured out, provided it doesnt take him 2 more years to get there. i think shane beats roy, then gets cain then back to brock.

I'd agree, Cain doesn't have nearly the power of someone like Carwin. On the other hand he's shown he hasn't needed it to finish fights, with the exception of Kongo (who Cain completely dominated despite getting staggered by a couple nice shots) all of Cain's fights have been stoppages in the first two rounds.

If Brock wins I believe it is assumed he gets JDS, which would be yet another in the recent series of great heavyweight fights in the UFC worth watching.

I waffle back and forth on this cruiserweight thing, I think an easier argument could be made one way or the other after Saturday.
