i read today that the ufc got the gracie academy youtube channel removed from youtube for copyright infringement.
apparently the ufc doesnt like the gracie brothers from using clips of the fights during technique breakdowns they do after almost every fight.

funny thing, danas responce to rener gracies complaints about the situation, "you should talk to your dad about how to run a business" (or something to that effect). apparently rorion raped the ufc when they made the "ultimate royce gracie" show/dvd. sounds to me like dana is getting a SLIGHT measure of revenge maybe.

yeah some of them where pretty good. some of them are pure gracie propaganda. like how fedor had terrible gracie jiu jitsu because he couldnt get out from under big foot silva. they know fedor doesnt train "gracie jiu jitsu" so they take every chance to talk about how bad his technique was.

just saw fitch is injured and out of his rematch with bj penn. they are deciding to either put another opponent or move the fight to later in the year. some talk of carlos condit stepping in for fitch. i dont think condit can beat bj, i think he is more second tier. his only chance is to be very aggressive and push the pace, but that is what fitch was supposed to do, and diego sanchez too?

I agree, I love Condit but I don't think he has the position control grappling attack option that Fitch has.

Why not Josh Koscheck? I've not heard of anything scheduled for him, at least it would be a grappler who can punch hard.

i have not heard much about kos, i dont know that he is back from suspension. he had eye surgery, and best i can find is he will be out of action until mid 2011. i dont know if that means no fights or no training till mid 2011. that would be an interesting fight, and kos COULD out point bj, but i think bj wins that fight if he is active. i think that fight would go similar to diego vs bj.

Strangely I think the hole BJ made in Diego's forehead was easily larger than Kos' eye slit by end of GSP fight.

BJ was all about creating new face orifice, GSP was more into reformatting.

Bj kicked diego so hard he changed his name lol. kampman took it a step further, and he has been asking for a rematch but diego has said several times he wants none of it. or he actually said he didnt thing there was any reason for a rematch. i say kampman got screwed and diego knows it and doesnt want that rematch because he knows he will get beat to a pulp once again.

Condit will likely outwork BJ. I still say BJ needs to stay at 155.

And where is Kimbo slice these days? Is he done for good with MMA? A while back I heard he was entering boxing, which is a lame move. Too old and he wont make any cash in boxing.

last i heard about him was the same. i think he is just making appearances and things of that nature. i bet he gets a whopping $1000 to show up to peoples birthday parties and stuff, look all mean and then walk out the back door because they dont want the neighbors to see him hanging out.

he did a couple minor roles in some movies so i am guessing he is done fighting "for real" now he is just gonna play a tough guy on tv or movies.

condit would only win on points IMO, but bj could finish him. i agree bj is better as a 155er but he kinda has nowhere to go there. i expect gsp will move up to 185 if he gets past shields which would leave the 170 belt open. (or so dana has rumored). this would set bj up a bit easier to make a run at the belt as the only true tough guys he would have to fight are kos and fitch. he already beat fitch IMO and i think kos would be an interesting matchup.

theyre not removed, they just had to edit out the fight footage. it kinda makes sense since the videos are ultimately to sell their dvds
